PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING
VILLAGE OF FORT JOHNSON DISSOLUTION PROCESS

 

Please take notice that the Village of Fort Johnson Village Board has scheduled a public informational meeting for Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Hall at 1 Prospect Drive Fort Johnson, NY 12070 at a special meeting of the Village Board.

 

The purpose of this informational meeting is to provide residents the opportunity to learn about, and discuss, the process for a Board Initiated Dissolution Process.  As the first step in the process, the Village is developing a proposed plan that will provide residents with detailed information on the impact on governance, services, costs, property taxes, local laws and positions should the Village voters elect to dissolve.  The Plan when completed, will be available on the Village of Fort Johnson Website, www.https://vfjny.org and on the project website at www.labergegroup.com/fortjohnson. In addition, when completed, a hard copy will be available at Village Hall.

 

 Citizens may state their opinions at that time, either in person, by agent or written statement.
